Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday praised the “political stability” in the country and highlighted the efforts of the NDA government for India’s growth in the last 10 years.
“Our government is on the path to building a developed India,” Shah stated, underscoring the administration’s focus on progress.
Marking the NDA government’s 100 days in office on Tuesday, Shah highlighted the government’s efforts in strengthening internal security over the last decade, crediting the people for entrusting the BJP with another opportunity to lead the nation. “PM Modi also brought the New Education Policy which includes our ancient education system and modern education, which also honours our regional languages,” he added.
The administration’s emphasis on space exploration has garnered international recognition, reinforcing India’s standing on the global stage, Shah stated. A strengthened foreign policy and numerous initiatives targeting youth and agricultural sectors underscore the government’s commitment to comprehensive national development.
Shah also asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a total of 11 lakh women benefitted from the Lakhpati Didi scheme.
The BJP, along with various ministries and departments, has devised a detailed plan to commemorate the NDA government’s 100 days in office on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday. The party has inaugurated the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ event, which will run until October 2.
As the first 100 days of Modi 3.0 concludes, Shah highlighted a significant investment surge and a series of infrastructure achievements that he argues showcase the government’s commitment to the nation’s advancement.
Shah revealed that the government has channelled a remarkable Rs 15 lakh crore into various sectors, signalling a vigorous drive towards economic and infrastructural development. Of this, Rs 3 lakh crore has been specifically allocated in the Modi 3.0 government, with a notable Rs 76,000 crore directed towards development projects in Vardhaman, Maharashtra.
Infrastructure has been a focal point of the government’s efforts, with new runways inaugurated at key airports in Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bihar, and two additional locations. The expansion aims to bolster connectivity and stimulate regional economic growth.
In Bengaluru, the metro project has gained significant traction, reflecting the government’s dedication to modernising urban transportation. Meanwhile, the 21st instalment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi has been disbursed, alongside an increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops — a move intended to benefit farmers and surpass the support levels provided during the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
